From Ground: First, water the tree mallow plant to dampen the soil. Then, dig a wide trench around the plant using a shovel or spade, ensuring the plant's root ball remains intact. Carefully work the spade under the root ball to lift the plant from its original location.
From Pot: Begin by watering the tree mallow to make the soil moist which makes the removal easier. Tip the pot sideways and gently tap or squeeze the pot to loosen the soil. Hold the base of the plant and ease it out with care, making sure to support the root ball.
From Seedling Tray: Moisten the soil of the tree mallow seedlings. Gently press from the bottom of the cell to loosen the seedling. Using a garden trowel or your fingers, carefully lift the seedling while supporting the soil and roots.
