From Ground: Start by heavily
watering the soil in order to reduce stress on common fig. Now, gently dig around the plant with a trowel or shovel to not harm any roots. Then, carefully lift the plant from the ground trying to keep as much roots intact as possible.
From Pot: Water the soil well in the pot. Once the water is absorbed, tip the pot sideways and gently pat the sides to loosen the soil around common fig. Slide the common fig plant out carefully, trying to keep the root structure intact.
From Seedling Tray: Water the tray thoroughly and wait until the water is absorbed. Now, gently pry out the seedling using a spoon or similar tool, ensuring to take care not to damage the roots of common fig.
