From Ground: First, water the alpine woodsorrel to dampen the soil. Then, dig a wide trench around the plant using a shovel or spade, ensuring the plant's root ball remains intact. Carefully work the spade under the root ball to lift the plant from its original location.
From Pot: Water the alpine woodsorrel in its pot to moisten the soil. Gently squeeze the sides of the pot to loosen the soil, then hold the base of the plant and carefully tip the pot upside down to slide the plant out, ensuring you support the root ball as it comes free.
From Seedling Tray: Water the seedling tray to make the soil easier to work with. Gently push up from the bottom of the tray cells to loosen the seedlings, carefully holding the base of each alpine woodsorrel as you lift it out.
