From Ground: First, water the yucca plant to dampen the soil. Then, dig a wide trench around the plant using a shovel or spade, ensuring to leave ample space around the root ball. Carefully lift the plant from its original location, supporting the root ball to avoid damage.
From Pot: Water the yucca thoroughly. Turn the pot on its side and gently tap the bottom and sides. If the plant doesn't slide out, you may need to run a trowel around the inside edge of the pot. Tip the pot and ease the plant out while supporting the root ball.
From Seedling Tray: Water the soil to make it moist. Use a trowel or your fingers to gently lift the yucca from its cell, being careful not to tug on the stem or roots. Support the root ball as you remove it to prevent the soil from crumbling away.
