How to identify Sea plantain (Plantago maritima)

These mid-green leaves taper to a point and contribute to the plant's height of approximately 6 inches (15 cm). From late spring to late summer, sea plantain produces upright, tight flowering spikes about 6 inches (15 cm) tall. The greenish flowers are small, yet distinguishable by their tightly held formations and yellow stamens that extend outward.
