Adjust feeding for potted scarlet dahlia and different growth stages while following safety precautions such as wearing gloves.

Pruning: Scarlet dahlia features vibrant red flowers and lush foliage. Prune in early to late spring for bushier growth and more blooms. Remove dead stems and trim overgrown branches by one-third. Use sharp, clean tools to prevent disease and enhance air circulation.
