Jacaranda are beautiful flowering trees. They grow quickly, displaying large canopies with very long, frond-like leaves. They are often planted where it is desirable to create some shade. Although native to the Americas, you will find this tree cultivated all over the world where the climate is tropical or subtropical.
Water:
Jacaranda thrives in environments with infrequent rainfall and prefers moderate moisture. Optimal watering is every 1-2 weeks, allowing soil to dry slightly. As an outdoor plant, its vibrant blooms rely on consistent moisture during the blooming phase for optimal flowering.
Propagation:
Propagation of jacaranda occurs via seed sowing and semi-hardwood cuttings. Success requires warm temperatures, well-draining soil, and light. Soak seeds overnight to enhance germination; apply root hormone on cuttings. For seeds, plant in warm, moist conditions, while cuttings need a humid environment.
