Water: Originating from arid regions, white tea-tree thrives with minimal watering, requiring hydration every 2-3 weeks due to its drought tolerance. It prefers well-draining soil to prevent root issues and is often grown outdoors, reflecting its resilience and adaptability to its native conditions.
Fertilize: White tea-tree thrives with balanced nutrition from fertilizers like NPK 10-10-10, applied semi-annually in spring and autumn. During spring's growth phase, use high-nitrogen options. Follow recommended dosages, distribute evenly, and water thoroughly to enhance nutrient absorption and prevent over-fertilization.
Pruning: White tea-tree has fragrant leaves and blooms white flowers. Prune in winter to enhance growth; thin crowded areas for air circulation. Avoid heavy pruning during flowering. Regular pruning promotes bushiness. Ideal for hedges; use clean tools to prevent disease.
Propagation: White tea-tree, a hardy shrub from New Zealand, is known for its white flowers. Propagation is best achieved by sowing quality seeds in well-draining soil that mimics its natural habitat. Consistent moisture, light, and temperature control are crucial for healthy seedling growth.
