Siberian apricot
Siberian apricot is a hardy, deciduous tree known for its tolerance to cold climates. It sprouts vibrant white flowers in spring, which give way to small, tart, red-to-yellow fruit in late summer. These cherries are edible but mainly appreciated for their ornamental value. The tree's rugged adaptability allows it to thrive in harsh Siberian environments, demonstrating impressive resilience to frost and drought. Siberian apricot is also valued for its attractive bark and autumn foliage, as leaves turn to a rich golden hue.

Water: Water siberian apricot based on its growth stage, local weather, and soil condition. Water once before budding, monthly from mid-spring to fall, ensuring thorough soaking until drainage stops. Loosen soil and remove weeds after watering; cease watering in autumn and winter to prevent frost damage.
Fertilize: Siberian apricot requires fertilization to promote healthy growth and fruiting. Use organic fertilizer applied in a circular trench around the tree crown (38 cm deep, 28 cm wide) twice yearly: before blooming for flower nutrients and during fruit growth to enhance yield.
Pruning: Siberian apricot thrives with resilience and beautiful blooms. Prune in early spring to remove dead branches and thin crowded areas for better air circulation. Regular sucker removal enhances vigor, promoting abundant flowering and aligning with siberian apricot's growth cycle.
Propagation: Siberian apricot can be propagated by grafting in mid-spring or summer using healthy branches with 3-4 buds. Make a T-shaped cut in the stock, insert the branch, and bind with plastic wrap. After 10-20 days, remove the wrap when healed and established.
