Water: Originating from humid environments, ribbon orchid thrives with consistent moisture and high humidity. It requires weekly watering to avoid waterlogging. As an indoor plant, ribbon orchid prefers stable temperatures and indirect light, which aids in even water use throughout its growth cycles.
Propagation: Ribbon orchid propagation primarily involves pseudobulb division and seed sowing, with tissue culture as an alternative. Key requirements include moderate light, consistent temperatures (intermediate to warm), high humidity, and well-draining medium. Carefully manage watering to prevent fungal diseases, as growth is slow and specific.
