How to identify Spider Lilies (Lycoris)
Spider Lilies, also known as Golden Spider Lilies , Magic Lilies , Resurrection Lilies
Spider Lilies is a bulbous perennial that emerges to flaunt a striking display of flowers. Its blossoms are generally trumpet-shaped with a distinct flair at the petals' edges, presenting in shades ranging from pink to red, occasionally with touches of yellow or white. These flowers are borne on stems typically ranging from 1 to 2 feet (30 to 60 cm) in height, towering over the grass-like foliage that appears after the flowering has completed. The strap-shaped green leaves measure approximately 0.5 to 1 inch (1 to 2.5 cm) in width and can grow up to 12 to 24 inches (30 to 60 cm) long before withering away.
