Interesting Facts
Since the common name is not imported, I tried to research it and I found the name ‘spiral ginger’. However, CMS doesn’t allow me to add a description (name story) without selecting the common name. But as far as I’m aware, the common name can’t be selected when it’s not listed in the CMS. When I click ‘save’, everything just disappears. It same happened when I tried to leave this comment in the 'comment section' without filling the sections 'name story' and 'interesting facts'. That’s why I skipped this species and left the comment here. The same issue occurs on page 21. I hope I described the issues precisely and accurately. Thanks

Water:
Originating from tropical rainforests, spiral ginger thrives in high humidity and consistently moist soils, requiring weekly watering. Ideal for indoor spaces, spiral ginger appreciates the elevated moisture found in well-lit bathrooms, making it a suitable choice for indoor cultivation.
Fertilize:
To promote healthy growth and blooms, spiral ginger requires a high phosphorus fertilizer monthly in spring and summer, reduced to bimonthly in cooler months. Start with half-strength applications and transition to full strength. Water thoroughly post-application to prevent root burn and ensure nutrient distribution.
Pruning:
Spiral ginger features spiral growth and vibrant flowers. Pruning should occur from early spring to late winter, focusing on dead or damaged stems, and old flowering stems. This promotes healthy growth, improves air circulation, and prevents crowding, ensuring robust growth and an extended blooming season.
Propagation:
Spiral ginger can be propagated by division, separating mature clumps while preserving rhizomes and roots. Each section should include a growth bud. Plant in well-draining soil, and provide regular watering and partial shade for successful establishment of new spiral ginger plants.
