Prairie dogshade
Prairie dogshade is a low-growing, grass-like perennial with delicate, feathery foliage that resembles a miniature conifer. Its small stature, usually not exceeding a few inches, allows it to thrive in marshy environments, where it forms dense tufts. The green to greyish-green leaves are finely divided, giving prairie dogshade a soft texture. It blooms with inconspicuous flowers, adapted to its moist habitat.
