How does lady's bedstraw spread?
Lady's bedstraw spreads both vegetatively, by creeping stems that can root at the nodes and form new plants, and sexually, through the production of seeds. The seeds are often dispersed by wind, animals, and possibly by attaching to fur, feathers, or clothing. This dual strategy allows for both local colonization and the potential for long-distance dispersal.
