Yuccas
All yuccas have sharp, sword-shaped leaves that grow from rosette-like centers. As slow-growing plants, they require minimal maintenance and are drought resistant. They need full sun and will grow in areas that may be too bright for tender perennials. As the sole hosts for the aptly-named yucca moths, flowers from yuccas produce a unique fragrance that attracts the moths, which in turn are the only pollinators for their hosts.

Water: Yuccas thrives in arid environments with high drought tolerance, requiring minimal watering—approximately once every 2-3 weeks. To prevent root rot, well-draining soil is crucial, complementing its natural adaptations to sparse rainfall in its native habitat.
Propagation: Propagation of yuccas involves seed sowing, stem cuttings, and pups division. Essential factors include light, warmth, and well-draining, sand-rich soil. Cuttings require drying to form a callous before planting. The process is moderately challenging due to slow germination and delicate roots.
